In 1998,football phone-in hosts Danny Baker and Danny Kelly recieved a communication from am unassuming Australian Bush Ranger.The fax contained what turned out to be described as 'The Greatest Football Story Ever Told'.Below is a photocopy of the original Fax,which may not scan so well to the naked eye,but with each deciphered word comes the thrill of discovery..enjoy. The story in it's entirety appeared in the 'TIMES' newspaper and has since become part of football folklore.
